plywood boat stringers
I bought a 1986 alumacraft boat to have a project to work on. i want build a set of stringers for it and am very familiar with wood work except when it.... Looking for an opinion guys. i've seen most people use plywood strips for stringers in stitch and glue boats, but i've seen a few use what i think is the white wood.

Years ago i read a piece on building boats out of plywood. i don't remember who wrote it or where i found it, but i do remember the author insisting.... This seems like a well-worn topic here, but i bring it up again with a "small boat" twist. here are a few other posts on this, but none were.
